GtkPlugin for Squeak Smalltalk

 

Welcome to the homepage of SqueakGtk.

SqueakGtk is an attempt to port Gtk+ GUI in Squeak Smalltalk.

Follow this guide to install GtkPlugin on Unix.

  • Added basic GdkEvents
  • Refactored signal handling by adding GSignalHandler as frontend to signal handlers
  • Added a basic GtkInspector (example: GtkInspector openOn: GtkWindow new)
  • Renamed GSqueakCallback to GSignalCallback and PluggableGtkApplication to PluggableGtkComponent
  • Added basic halos (example: Gtk default useHalos: true; enterHalos. Then Ctrl+Sx click on a widget to open an inspector on it. Gtk default leaveHalos when done)
